Description
My client, one of the leading Telecoms operators in Belgium, is currently looking for a Senior Network Engineer who will develop, build, manage, optimize and control the IP network & security infrastructure for the benefit of the business in order to answer customer needs with solutions in a sustainable, high-quality, timely and cost-effective way.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the different intake channels
- Translating the business requirements into design
- Bringing his/her expertise within Firewall and gateway security domain
Experience:
- Experience in working within the Mobile Network domain is essential
- IP certification
- Ability to derive design from intake with customer
- TCP/IP
- IP Networking and routering
- Experience with L2 techniques like q-in-q
- Firewall
- Strong knowledge of MPLS, with BGP, LDP, VPLS.
- Fluent in English
- Dutch or French is nice to have but not essential
- Telecoms background is a big plus
