IT Security Analyst - SOC/SIEM
Whitehall resources are currently recruiting for an IT Security Analyst - SOC/SIEM for our client near Amsterdam, NL.
Start: ASAP
Duration: 2 months
Language: English (main) and Dutch (advantage)
Working in SOC/SIEM, basically someone who can maintain security monitoring tools, a specialist/trusted advisor for security staff to guide the SOC/SIEM project team.
Most important qualities:
- Ample experience working with SIEM processes and advising on client use cases and so on for the SOC project, thus someone who can play Advisory Role!
Next to that the following actives might be requested to perform:
- Monitoring and following up on Security incidents reported by Secureworks (MSSP). Also tracking the
availability of the tooling.
- Advise on use cases and alert handling.
- Reviewing the Service Desk IT requests/Change Orders for the completeness and following up with the requesters to provide all necessary information to have the assessment done.
- Participate in the ongoing security projects where IT department is involved.
- Assessing projects in terms of IT security risks.
- Consultant needs to be located In NL, client location is in North-Holland, required language English, comfortable/experienced to interact/report to management.
