Security Technical Consultant (Penetration Testing Kali Linux, Burp Suite, Metasploit)
Security Technical Consultant - An exciting opportunity working for an industry leading organisation based in Helsinki, Finland.
Security Technical Consultant Main Responsibilities
Runs the internal/external vulnerability management system and works with various departments to remediate issues
Penetration testing of systems & applications ( Kali linux, Burp suite, metasploit )
Identifies new security technologies and solutions; oversees the design, deployment and review of new security capabilities
Leads the architecture and development of security technology solutions in complex environments
Ensures that security configurations of key systems are properly implemented, audited, monitored and reported
Leads security investigations in response to security incidents
Provide on call support and operations support for networking and security issues and escalations
Assist users in finding secure methods and practices to meet business needs
Builds familiarity with both existing and emerging threats/vulnerabilities, evaluates security posture across the organization
Collaborates with team leads, engineers, and developers to translate functional needs into technical security requirements
Oversees and leads the development of baseline system and application hardening guides based on industry best practice
Provides leadership and expertise to IT teams and business stakeholders on current security solutions and configurations
Assists with business continuity planning and disaster recovery programs
Knowledge and experience with the following tools is highly desirable: Qualys Vulnerability Management, Tenable/Nessus Scanners, AlertLogic Threat Manager/Log Manager, Threat Stack, Cisco Firewalls and Routers, SourceFire/FirePower IPS/IDS, Splunk, Kali linux, Burp suite, metasploit
