We currently have a vacancy for one Cyber SECURITY Specialist to offer his/her services within a European agency (client) in The Hague to start ASAP a 140 w/day contract (initial) in an EN-speaking environment. Extensions are possible (until at least , more to see). Our client is an international Organisation and a great reference in any CV.
AT A GLANCE
- A minimum of 7 years of related work experience in developing, implementing or architecting information security systems with an understanding of information security regulatory requirements and compliance issues;
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in Info/Cyber Security roles;
- Experience in security related process definition, workflow design and process mapping;
- Knowledge in Information Security domains (in particular one or more of the following): Cyber Program Management, Cyber Threat Management, Identity & Access Management, Data Protection, Privacy, and Organizational Resilience.
- The proposed consultant(s) must present a security clearance level EU Confidential prior to the execution of services.
DESCRIPTION OF TASKS (more details)
- Security strategy: Assess, design and implement a security strategy and governance program framework that describes the process, controls, organization and infrastructure to manage ICT security related concerns
- Security implementation: Design, implement and integrate security solutions to address enterprise risks and exposures
- Security governance: Design and implement ICT security policies, processes, procedures and standards that describe pragmatic, risk-based mechanisms to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information systems and the data processed therein
- Security monitoring: Design and implement security solutions to monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of security operations, controls and infrastructure.
- Cybersecurity: Design and implement Cybersecurity frameworks, perform Cyber maturity assessments, engage in organisational design for Cyber Security, cloud security, design and rollout of cyber security processes such as Incident Management, Intrusion Detection, and Security Monitoring
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Certification: 3 years of formal higher education at least equivalent to a level of bachelor degree in the fields of Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering
- A minimum of 7 years of related work experience in developing, implementing or architecting information security systems with an understanding of information security regulatory requirements and compliance issues
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in Info/Cyber Security roles
- Professional experience on at least 2 large scale projects with responsibilities around the expected tasks and services.
- Experience in security related process definition, workflow design and process mapping
- Knowledge in Information Security domains (in particular one or more of the following): Cyber Program Management, Cyber Threat Management, Identity & Access Management, Data Protection, Privacy, and Organizational Resilience.
- Professional knowledge in assessing solution architectures at the planning and design level for security issues and vulnerabilities.
- Professional knowledge of Information risk management frameworks, including threat and vulnerability scenarios and corresponding risk mitigation action plan.
- Experience in practical security vulnerability remediation.
- Working knowledge of English (B2 or higher)
Desirable:
- Knowledge of general security concepts and methods such as vulnerability assessments, privacy assessments, intrusion detection, incident response, security policy creation, enterprise security strategies, architectures and governance and Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, OSI model), operating system fundamentals (Windows, Linux), security technologies (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.) and application programming/Scripting languages (C, Java, Shell)
- Strong technical security skills in assessment, design, implementation, architecture, and program/project delivery and work across various delivery models, (Waterfall, Agile, DevOps)
- Knowledge of the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) Application Security Verification Standard and emerging application security best practices.
