Title: Systems Analyst
Location: Columbia, SC
Job Type: Long Term Contract
Job Responsibilities:
- This position will be responsible for installation, administration, configuration, security, customization, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of Linux and WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and WAS Portal (multi-platform).
- This position also involves interactions with technology owners and developers for getting the requirements for baseline OS image.
- Ongoing patching and maintenance of Linux Servers is also part of responsibilities.
- This position will be involved in establishing standards and guidelines for Linux and help out with any WebSphere App server (WAS) and Linux related solutions.
Technical Background:
- Candidate should have Linux and WebSphere Application Server administration experience at enterprise level.
- Shell Scripting experience and knowledge of security and compliance for DoD
- Knowledge or experience of working with WebSphere Portal infrastructure is desired but not mandatory.
