Solution Architect:
Infrastructure
Our customer is a global player in the fast moving international TV business. They require a Solution Architect to join their team to define and implement security architecture blueprints based on best practices and industry accepted standards.
Role:
*Manage an effective security program across the Global technology estate in support of the department leads
*Evaluation new technical solutions, and integration of tools.
*Provide security governance in the Architecture designs and develop and apply the tools, policies, and procedures necessary to protect Global information, network and computer systems
*Build a capability and providing leadership in analysing and addressing vulnerabilities and attempted intrusions and in preventing systems or data from being compromised
*Conduct security reviews, risk assessments and reverse engineer approach to provide recommendations to keep the Global operation's enterprise architecture and network secure.
*Work with business, product stakeholders and Countries at a Global scale to highlight security issues and achieve consensus agreement to the security architecture, design and engineering vision.
*Participate in projects having the ability to incorporate both local and global requirements into the designs produced; and act as the central contact point for security related questions to assure that the various level designs are based on industry best practices and sound engineering principles.
*Identify, quantify, and provide design remediation for technical security risks as they relate to enterprise and Global projects and transfer knowledge on how to deal with the threats against a large global business.
*Produce management reporting, including appropriate metrics that inform senior leadership as to the state of Information & IT security risk and exposure.
Experience:
*University degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or related field
*Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, ISO27005 Certified Risk Manager
*Security management experience in enterprise organizations and technical experience.
*Experience with industry best-practice approaches to the design, implementation, operation and management of IT and Security systems (eg, ISF, ITIL, COBIT, NIST).
*An intelligent, articulate, consensus building and persuasive leader.
*Have a strong business acumen and technology knowledge, who can serve as an effective member of the Information Security management team.
*Able to communicate information security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical audiences.
*Visionary leader with strong business acumen and a detailed working knowledge of information security technologies, practices, policies, and their application
*Proven strong decision-making capabilities, with a proven track record of weighing the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate one
*Demonstrated technical expertise in existing security and IT systems and an ability to keep pace with changing security and IT technologies
*A great communicator in both written and oral communication
*A clear commercial focus that is visible through value based management.
*An ability to sit comfortably on multiple management teams.
*A well respected team player with proven ability to contribute in a number of areas
*A passion for quality and value in all that is delivered.
*Minimum 2-3 years of managerial experience; managing technical teams and driving technical efforts
