Description
IBM Storage Engineers with expertise in SAN, LUN Configuration, Zoning, Mirroring, XIV and DS8000 required for a long-term assignment based in Brussels.
Our client is rationalising their Datacenter estate and migrating numerous Datacenters into 2 brand-new Datacenters. They now need to ramp up their project team for this large-scale and complex transition and migration.
Requirements
- Global Mirror, Metro Mirror and Flashcopy
- Perform Advanced Config of SAN/disk devices
- Perform advanced Logical Disk, Raid, LUN Configuration
- Perform zoning
- Perform allocation with Zoning/Copy Services
- Troubleshoot storage performance issues
- Provide Configuration Info for Advanced DISK, RAID, Logical LUN Copy
- Experience in Imagemode migration using SVC Remote copy replication
- Experience/knowledge in DS8000
- Knowledge/experience on XIV native management interfaces, and the XIV built-in Data Migration utility
- Knowledge/experience of ISCSI
- Knowledge/experience of Excel
- Able to communicate in English both written and verbal.
- Flexible to works weekends and in shifts as required by the project from time-to-time.
