Description
Storage Consultants required to join a leading client on a long-term contract in Brussels, Belgium.
Successful consultants will be working in an international storage team.
The goal of the role is to merge a number of Benelux datacentres to 2 new datacentres. This role will require weekend and shift work.
Technical skills and duties:
- Global Mirror.
- Metro Mirror and Flashcopy Perform.
- Advanced Configuration of SAN/disk devices.
- Perform zoning.
- Perform allocation with Zoning/Copy Services.
- Troubleshoot.
- Storage performance issues.
- Provide Configuration Info for Advanced Disk.
- RAID, Logical LUN.
- Copy experience in Imagemodel.
- Migration using SVC Remote.
- Copy replication experience/DS8000 knowledge.
- Have knowledge/experience on XIV native management interfaces, and the XIV built-in Data.
- Migration utility.
- Has knowledge/experience of ISCSI.
- Has knowledge/experience of Excel.
