Job Description (JD):
Role: LEAD-ADMINISTRATOR
Contract: 3 months (extendable till 1 year)
Job Location: Dublin, Ireland
Required Skills:
6+ years of systems programming experience on the zSeries (Mainframe) platform supporting z/OS.
6+ years experience as an IMS, DB2 or CICS systems administrator working on the Mainframe platform
Working knowledge of the capabilities and use of z/OS installation and customization in a parallel sysplex environment.
Working knowledge and experience in the use of IBM's SMP/E product
Self-motivated and able to work independently. Must be able to multi-task and work under short deadlines and in high pressure situation
Familiarity with RACF security products with ability to design optimal security solutions for subsystems and applications.
Performing end to end subsystem and application diagnostics
Desirable Skills:
Fully understand z/OS Storage, DFSMS, DFSMSrmm, DFSMShsm and Catalog management
Sun StorageTek Enterprise Library Software
Experience of Mainframe tooling such as RMF, SAS/MXG, Omegamon, APA, TDS or similar
Experience of installing & tuning monitoring tools, eg. Omegamon, Mainview
Project Management skills
Skills: Mainframe Infra Admin, English Language
