Description
Resource 1 is seeking a Senior Windows Engineer for a 2-month opportunity located in Bolingbrook, IL. The selected individual will provide daily engineering and support to Servers, storage systems, security platforms, back-up platforms, and enterprise level applications. The selected individual should have 5+ years performing Windows Server Administration - recent experience with 2012/R2 is preferred. Individual should have experience working with Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy setting up OUs, GPOs, and Dynamic Distribution groups. Individual should have 5+ years of experience working with virtualization, client is currently working with Hyper-V. Experience setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting multi-server RDS environments is also preferred.
Nice to have skills:
- iSCSI SAN Storage - experience with setting up LUNs, working with iSCSI initiators, configuring drives within Windows. Working knowledge of creating CSVs in Failover Cluster.
- Hyper-V Clustering - experience setting up physical and virtual Servers in a cluster. Ability to configure
- DFSR/File Share - experience with setting up security permissions on multiple layers of network shares. A big plus if experienced with DFS replication.
- Backup Products - experience with backup products. A big plus if experienced with ArcServer or Appassure.
- Exchange Email - experience with creating and configuring mailboxes, distribution groups, security groups, alias. A big plus if experienced with Exchange 2013.
- Proofpoint - Web/Spam Filtering
- Microsoft Forefront - Firewall
- Kemp - Load Balancer
- Dell Blades - M620s/M630s. M1000e Chassis.
- Working knowledge of Pure and/or Nimble SAN storage devices.
