Finance Interface System Analyst - Ledger - Insurance

Based in Bristol a Finance Interface System Analyst is required on a contract basis to work within a Finance Transformation programme on an Insurance Ledger project.
This project has been up and running for 2 years and it's likely to go on for another 2 years. The team is working on two elements of the project, one is to implement a group ledger and the other is to migrate the insurance ledger over to another ledger.

This is an great opportunity to join a leading edge and exciting programme of work which does offer an excellent working environment, including the potential to work from home.

Skills and Experience required:

  • Systems accountant analyst background would be suitable.
  • Knowledge of insurance products (Life, Pension & Investment).
  • Ledger transformation or outsourcing projects experience.
  • Knowledge of Policy Administration source systems and their interaction with the external General Ledger.
  • Knowledge of both Balance Sheet/Operational control and P&L reconciliations.
  • Experience in data migration and have the ability to work independently.
  • Experience in dealing with detailed datasets.
  • Experience of Microsoft programs - particularly Excel.
  • Ability to understand mapping logic and to turn data into information.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and highlight issues proactively.
  • Part qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA).

Bristol based paying up to £300 per day.
