Position: IT Inventory Specialist
Duration: 6 months
Location: Nashville, TN
Job function:
- Receive IT equipment, ensure items received match items ordered, maintain accurate records, distribute IT equipment to technical teams and end-user customers, perform IT surplus and destruction processes.
Candidate technical background:
- IT Receiving, inventory, warehouse, or other IT business related work experience. (Minimum of 1 year experience)
- Experience with spreadsheet and database applications, including experience with spreadsheet and query development. (Required, 1 Year)
- Excellent keyboarding experience. Able to quickly and accurately input information in the database.
- Knowledge of technology/PC hardware some and software skills Win7/Win10 OS.
- MUST to be able to lift and carry items up to 50lbs.
Daily tasks:
- Unbox and Re-box Computer equipment PC's/Printers/Peripherals etc.
- Physical hardware inventory
- Equipment bundling
- Performing PC Surplus and Sanitation Process
- Load and unload PC equipment
- Move physical hardware to deployment area
- PC Hardware setup
Job responsibilities:
- Receive all incoming supplies and equipment.
- Verify each item received matches each item ordered, process invoices in appropriate inventory software system, and prepare items received for distribution.
- Reconcile and input appropriate data from invoices for payment to be issued.
- Pull inventory for shipping to other sites. Maintain shipping registers for each BlueCross BlueShield site.
- Process reallocations in IAMS.
