Do you have previous experience in a change management role alongside a strong background knowledge in ITIL processes? If so, a new opportunity has arisen with a leading financial services firm in Edinburgh for an initial contract of 6 months.
Core requirements:
- A good grounding in the ITIL processes - V3 foundation or better is highly desirable
- A background in Active Directory, networking, virtualisation, application development, databases, telephony, Client Server, cloud services, SAAS/PAAS/IAAS will be hugely beneficial. You will not be expected to implement any of these solutions, but you should be able to converse fluently with resources who will be implementing them
- Previous project management experience advantageous
- Previous experience in asset management operations
Core responsibilities:
- Work with the Service Design and Transition Manager to ensure that all Service Design elements are evaluated, and design plans put in place to meet the needs of the business
- Establish effective working relationships with operational teams to achieve final delivery signoff to BAU
- Embed into the project to guide all project delivery actions to a successful end state. Act as the SME for delivery of new users into new platforms in a controlled and repeatable manner
- Work with Existing Design, Transition and Change management functions to ensure that the end state deliverable can be supported and has a full governance trail
- Ensure Knowledge is captured throughout the project so that it can be transferred at transition to BAU and that applicable warranty periods hand over smoothly
