Optical Network Designer and Planner

Responsibilities:
1. Create WDM Network High Level Design independently (based on service order)
2. Create WDM Network Low Level Design based on HLD
3. Operate resource management system NIM. Add/Update/Remove resources
4. Instruction material (delivery requirement) based on design
5. Communicate with Dutch customers to elaborate on detailed requirements
Essential Skills:
* Proven track record (more than 5 years) of optical network engineering experience
* In depth understanding of WDM/OTN principles and standard Network designing rules
* Profound knowledge of with the NIM/Cramer system (OSS 8 is desired, but not mandatory)
* Familiar with network fiber connection materials
* In depth understanding of optical network standard components
* Capable is assessing site cable connection segments.
* Pro-active attitude, willing to learn and grow. Team player
* Able to communicate in Dutch
* For efficiency reasons, the candidate should be able to operate input devises fast
