- Use M2000 client or other NE Interfaces to load 2G, 3G or 4G scripts into relevant elements prior to planned swap (more than one operator will be applied) and only one logical NE will be created on OSS;

- Lock down the existing BTS/NodeB/eNodeB as requested by onsite partner;

- Monitor Transmission status via M2000 client or other elements as necessary.

- Liaise with onsite partner/customer TX nominated partner for troubleshooting any issues during integration;

- Execute command to activate BTS/NodeB/eNodeB cells;

- Configure TMA/MHA/TCU/PSU/EMU/RET and any other ancillary equipment as necessary;

- Calibrate the RET if it's required;

- Distribute NodeB/eNodeB licences to NodeBs/eNodeBs;

- BTS/NodeB/eNodeB Software upgrade remotely if necessary, including software download and activation;

- Cooperate with onsite partner for external and internal alarms configuration to test and ensure all defined/working correctly.

- Contact onsite partner to confirm required call tests are implemented and monitor using Huawei tools;

- Liaise/Co-operate with partner onsite for integration and nominated partner for TX issues.

- Cooperate with Integration Coordinator/Delivery Manager for related swap or Integration Issues.

- Troubleshoot any activities in order to complete swap/integration and identify faults or issues.

- Raise clarify case (or alternative fault reporting tool) for any outstanding issues and distribute to relevant responsible partner, update agreed documentation with all necessary information.

- Integration activity for some sites could be performed in the night and weekends;

- Any other necessary exercise to complete the integration support

- Unlock the existing BTS/NodeB/eNodeB as requested by onsite partner;

- Configure and test environment alarms with partner;

- Take VSWR/PIM measurements post swap and record the results;

- Troubleshoot and clear any related alarms

- Join the meeting and send the daily report;

- IP Migration on single or multiple technologies;

- Site and Cluster Neighbour Implementations;

Required compentencies

  • BA/BSc degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • At least 2 years of experience within a RAN/BSS network deployment/support environment as well as an understanding of all key elements that make up a mobile network
  • Have working knowledge of Huawei M2000/U2000
  • Fluent English spoken and written
  • Willingness to travel within Europe if required
