Description
Systems Administrator VMware/Cloud wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.Your experience/skills:
- Working experience in System Adminstration, preferred in the banking sector
- Familiarity with project work and activities
- Proficiency of VMware Tools, such as vROPS, vCAC and migration tool Platespin
- Experience in capacity and performance analysis, management and reporting
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Managing and administrating the virtualisation infrastructure VMware for IB, WMSB, and WM EMEA division with approximately 1100 ESX Hosts and 17000 VMs
- Implementing and maintaining the IaaS / Cloud Infrastructure Matrix including HP CSA, MM, and Operation Orchestrator
- Installing and administrating HP and DELL blades and chassis as well as managing of HP 3PAR Storage
- Performing upgrades for virtual infrastructure like VMware VSphere 5.5 to 6.0
- Configuring and administrating virtualisation applications, troubleshooting, and capacity planning as well as assisting with scripting, including reporting and automation
- Performing P2V and V2V migrations and developing scripts to report and solve operational problems
