Description
System Administrator Windows Server - Patch Management wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.Your experience/skills:
- 5+ years' work experience as a System Administrator in Patching activities or in another relevant position
- Expertise in supporting Windows based infrastructure and application computing environment with large number of servers
- Excellent knowledge of Windows-based operating systems beside familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMWare and Hyper-V
- Solid understanding of HBA technologies as well as an independent work approach
- Languages: fluent English and German both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Engaging in infrastructure projects along with third level support of windows server environment liaising with Switzerland, EMEA and global counterparts
- Implementing and improving security risk remediation on system in Switzerland, EMEA and global scale
- Collaborating with other internal partners for designing, planning and coordinating of implementation to ensure work is completed in a timely manner
- Writing technical documentations for related infrastructure and installs which includes technologies such as Clustering, Filesystem and Symantec Enterprise Volume Manager
- Participating on L3 daily incident management beside analyzing of hardware issues and service request queue
