FinXL IT Professional Services is an established innovative Australian company providing technology enabled business solutions and consulting services across a number of industries including Telecommunications, Commercial, Government and Finance.
In Queensland our growth continues, especially in our Project Services practice and as a result we have a new role available in our team.
We have a 6 month engagement for a Security Analyst to work in a Information Security operational team.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitoring incident detection tools and responding to cyber security incidents
- Automating repeatable tasks using orchestration engines and Scripting
- Configuring business rules using security enforcement and monitoring tools
- Proactively improving the security posture of the organisation by conducting and participating in initiatives
- Working with external partners and suppliers to optimise the delivery of security services
- Continuously maintaining capabilities and capacity of security tools to meet both existing and new business demand
- Developing system and process documentation
- Communicating with customers at all organisational levels
Required Skills:
- Professional experience within a technical IT position
- Strong experience in Scripting/infrastructure automation
- Strong understanding of networking concepts andcyber security controls
- Ability to gather relevant information systematically to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Prior experience using automated monitoring tools and Splunk (highly desirable)
