Description
We are currently looking for a Consultants to work as Radio Engineers.
This is an 8-month freelance contract position with the possibility of extending further thereafter. This role is due to start from 1st April 2018 until the end of December 2018. This is a great opportunity to work with our leading renewable energy client on one of their exciting wind farm projects, you will be based in Denmark. We need a consultant who can meet the following requirement.
The Role:
Our client requires equipment tests to be carried out at various locations, ie fabrication yards for Transition pieces for their offshore substation, pre-assembly sites for turbines. The Consultant will be required to travel to sites and ensure all equipment is working. Our client is also getting closer to offshore tests and these need to be planned and supervised by engineers for this project.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10yrs experience from working on an offshore wind farm project.
- 3 5 years project experience required, RF knowledge at BSc level.
- Practical installation experience, within radio the field of radio communication.
- Must have knowledge of the following: DAMM TETRA FLEX, VHF FM, VHF AM, TETRA Repeaters.
- Must have full GWO certificates in place.
