Description

I am looking to hire a Document Controller for one of our direct client based in Cambridge. Please find the Job description below for your perusal and share your CV.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assembly and management of documentation including: quality plans, risk assessments and method statements (RAMS), Test and Inspection Plans, Document Issue Registers, Tech Submissions
  • Upload/download drawings and documents etc. to and from the client database (ASite) and ensure the correct revision type and status is included
  • Monitor documents on A Site for revision control, change requests; formatting accurately.
  • Attend client meetings regarding drawing and document issues
  • Issue progress trackers to the client on a weekly basis using Excel information provided by the Project Team for submission in PowerPoint format
  • Assist with the scheduling and control of project activities, including the delivery schedules, project milestones,
  • Raise purchase orders for subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ideally have knowledge of and assist with SAP reporting and invoicing queries.
  • Maintain procurement schedule
  • General administration activities

KEY SKILLS

  • Detailed knowledge of A-Site Document Management System
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • You will have experience of working on large construction projects or in a similar environment
  • You will have experience of working in a Customer-focused environment and achieving targets
  • It would be advantageous to have worked for an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Fire, Security or IT company
  • You will contribute to a health, safety and environmental procedures and requirements.
  • You will have excellent people management skills
