Description
Our client based in The Hague, Netherlands is urgently looking for a Security Systems Engineer to work within the SOC team.
Activities include:
- Management and maintenance of SOC applications in the following areas:
- Application backups
- Maintenance of certificates/PKI
- Installation and updates of applications
- User management - Scripting and automating SOC platforms
- Design and organization of a generic health monitoring system on the SOC systems
Job requirements
- 3 years Minimum 3 years' experience with Linux operating systems such as Red Hat and CentOS
- 2 years' experience with IP network protocols and technologies
- 2 years' experience with server hardware
- 2 years' experience with Shell-Scripting Bash, AWK
- 2 years' Experience with testing the safety and stability of (network) systems.
- Beneficial:
- Knowledge in the field of techniques such as Puppet, Jenkins, Docker or Ansible
- Knowledge and experience with configuration management tools (puppet, git)
- Knowledge and experience with monitoring products (Nagios) is an advantage.
- Experience with management of SIEM and log management solutions
