Oracle Apps DBA
Oracle Apps DBA required by Whitehall Resources for a part time off-shore position for our client based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Contract will initially be for a 1 month period with review of a 3 Month Extension thereafter.
Skills/Experience Required:
- Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle server software.
- Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures.
- Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges)
- Perform database tuning and performance monitoring.
- Perform application tuning and performance monitoring.
- Setup and maintain documentation and standards.
- Plan growth and changes (capacity planning).
- Perform general technical troubleshooting and give consultation to development teams.
- Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support.
- Patch Management.
- Candidates already based in Saudi Arabia will be preferred.
Candidates in full time employment are welcome. The working hours required are flexible as long as the consultant completes all project tasks required within the contract duration.
Start Date is 1st May 2018!
