Do you have significant experience in risk assurance gained from within the financial sector alongside strong stakeholder relationship skills? If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen with an international banking organisation for an initial contract of 6 months.
Core requirements:
- Seasoned Quality Assurance professional, with strong background in assurance and/or monitoring
- Strong knowledge of Financial Crime
- Experience of process, systems analysis and engineering
- Experience of working with Audit, Assurance, Operational Risk and/or BRCM functions
- Strong Analysis skills
- Experience of presenting to large audiences
Core responsibilities:
- Conduct quality assessments of assurance deliverables (reports and findings, supporting documentary evidence, working papers)
- Assess the effectiveness of the various governance mechanisms that sit above assurance activities
- Provide informed advice to senior executives on problem or risk-sensitive aspects of projects
- Through implementation of a QA framework, ensure minimum standards are achieved and there is a method for continuous improvement within projects
- Ensure transparency and accuracy of assurance deliverables, as will be reported to the senior management, stakeholders and executives
- Provide Senior Executive level updates to provide accurate, timely and insightful analysis
