Global Navigation Satellite Systems Security Consultant
Brief Overview
One of Triad's high profile clients, a consultancy with a global reach, is looking for a Security Consultant to work full time in Fucino (Italy) at a GCC site for at least 10 months, to cover a number of tasks, which are listed below.
The role is to work on one of the largest space projects in Europe.
You will be required to work for the first couple of weeks in Paris to be "inducted" to the role and the client (GSMC) requirements.
You must have SC Clearance for this role.
Essential Criteria
- Knowledge of practical INFOSEC security (eg network security device administration, user security management, incident response, etc.)
- Experience in drafting operational procedures related to root cause investigation and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Experience in performing validation of operational procedures.
- PSC to Secret EU
Desirable qualifications and experience
- Professional certifications (CISSP, GIAC)
- Experience in crisis management.
- Drafting reports of activity.
Main tasks
- Interaction with GSA & GCC-I;
- Collaborate in the creation and validation of GCC-I and GSMC incident handling procedures for nominal and crisis scenarios (ie Council Decision);
- Support GCC-I Secmon related activities, in particular, but not only, investigations requested by the GSMC;
- Resolution of security incidents requesting ARB decisions;
- Support the SOIF implementation roadmap in the GCC-I and support its validation activities between the GSMC and the GCC-I;
- Increase the GSMC knowledge of the system by directly accessing technical documentation on "as-built" system design and data flows, and sharing the knowledge within GSMC;
- Provide authorisations to GCC-I requests to the GSMC on changes in their electronic security environment (as per GSOP requirements);
- Enforce GSMC auditing responsibilities on Galileo Operations as stated in the Galileo SvRD-x;
- Gather/exploit inputs on system and security events that are not yet accessible/exploitable through the GSMC equipment delivered by ESA/WP2;
- Reinforce the quality of the GSMC Security Reporting to the Programme by having a direct on-site access to Spaceopal (SPO) inputs used for their weekly security reports;
- Accelerate the Council Decision and IRC time to decision trigger points in GCC procedures for crisis scenarios;
- Support GSMC SECMON LEOP preparation and execution;
- Support GSMC Business Continuity Plan definition, validation, and execution;
- Support GCC Business Continuity Plan execution (re-allocation of GSOp security expert team to GCC-D in case of contingency situations).
