SharePoint Engineer - Brussels - 6 months +
A SharePoint Engineer is required for a minimum of 6 months in Brussels. The ideal SharePoint engineer will be required for the following;
Install, Develop and/or adapt the applications in Sharepoint for a domain as described by the functional and business analysis, team lead and/or business unit manager and in regards to user requirements with focus on Sharepoint . Assure qualitative migration from Sharepoint 2010 to Sharepoint 2016 versiton using Sharegate. Reporting, analysis, implementation & problem solvingInstaller & administration. Providing fenctional and technical advise to during the implementation, solution & evalution phases. Risk evalution & Quality assurance. Write Powershell scripts necessary for the global approach. Testing and proactive problem solving in 1st and 2nd line support.
Data migration to Sharepoint 2016 within a test and production environment, Quality assurance and problem solving during the migration phase, software development/Scripting for timely delivery of Powershell ShareGate product. Provide assistance and expertise to the design and configuration of the end solution - assistance to the custom reconfiguration of the total collection of target sites (SP2016).

Primary Tasks and Responsibilities
Assure qualitative migration from Sharepoint 2010 to Sharepoint 2016 version using Sharegate. Sharepoint Administration is the main focus.
- Intall, Develop and/or adapt the applications in Sharepoint for a domain as described by the functional and business analysis, team lead and/or business unit manager and in regards to user requirements with focus on Sharepoint .
- Data migration to Sharepoint 2016 within a test and production environment,
- Quality assurance and problem solving during the migration phase, software development/Scripting for timely delivery of Powershell ShareGate product.
- Provide assistance and expertise to the design and configuration of the end solution - assistance to the custom reconfiguration of the total collection of target sites (SP2016).
- Reporting, analysis, implementation & problem solving
- Providing functional and technical advice to during the implementation, solution & evalution phases.
- Risk evaluation & Quality assurance.
- Write Powershell scripts necessary for the global approach. Testing and proactive problem solving in 1st and 2nd line support.
Insure the well understanding of all the requirement
- Translate the functional and business analysis in programming language and architecture
- Study and discuss the functional analysis with the designated internal contact
- Write the program in the agreed language and in regards to the quality standards
- Conduct the Test driven development
- Test the program in the integrated environment following the Agile method
- Document the software
- Report potential issues to the functional analysts proposing the optimal solution for the achievement of the best result
- Evaluate the impact of potential changes on the software modules and report any potential problems

- Quality assurance
- Write the test scenarios
- Test the final solution as proposed to the end users
- Document the test results
- Solve testing problems and retest
- Constant evolvement conducted in lessons learned after each milestone achieved
- Put in practice the improvement actions and good practices of software development
Technical Profile Requirements
- Good knowledge of Sharepoint Migration
- Good knowledge of Sharepoint Administration
- Good knowledge of troubleshoorting of Sharepoint
- Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
- Working knowledge of Virtualization Server VMWare
- Working knowledge of ShareGate
- Working knowledge of Powershell
