Description
We are currently looking for a senior Ops Engineer to be responsible for changing and running global applications that sit on WebSphere Application and WebSphere Portal Servers in a dynamic DevOps team. You will work together with the business analysts, testers and developers in your project team that are also responsible for changing and running the global portals.
Preference will be given to those candidates with JBOSS experience and the appetite to work for a cracking organisation.
Experience Required:
- Capacity/willingness to work according DevOps
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in technical management of web applications/websites running on Linux in conjunction with IBM WebSphere Application Server/IBM WebSphere Portal Server
- Technology essential: WAS, WPS, Oracle DB, Linux, Deployment automation (XLDeploy) Tomcat, Apache
- Technology desirable: JBoss, LDAP, WMQ,Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
- Experience working in accordance with ITIL (egIncident, Problem and Change management)
