I am currently recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering client based in Hereford.This is an exciting opportunity to join a positively recognised and well-respected company within their sector and play a key role in the development of a brand new project. This will include working within a strong team of engineers on the design and verification of a new product.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- A minimum 5 years of proven experience as a design Engineer with experience in power electronics.
- Experience in component selection, prototyping, testing and making design changes.
- Experience using Altium for schematic and layout design purposes including right-first-time design.
- Ability to work with other design/test engineers as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
- Experience with designing highly efficient buck & boost converters, SEPIC converters and battery monitoring circuitry.
- Experience designing for EMC and make changes in-situ is desirable.
