Description
Working for a leading bank my client is looking for strong cloud engineer with strong automation skills in VRA and VRO.
You will be involved in the following
- Assisting with new technology proof of concepts to test functionality and suitability of a product/design.
- Level 3 support to the domain managing vendor relationships at a technical level and driving functionality and benefit to the bank automating of existing processes to drive efficiency in the domain.
- Consulting on projects as requested by the architecture domain, software delivery and/or business.
Key skills:
- Past working experience in a virtualisation/Scripting/automation role
- A deep technical understanding of Virtualisation and Cloud
- Relevant product knowledge of Cloud computing services such as AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform etc.
- Infrastructure as Code and automation/orchestration technologies, such as Puppet/Chef/Ansible Tower/Jenkins
- Experience of continuous integration/continuous delivery software engineering approaches
- Knowledge of some or all the following VMware products o vSphere 5.5/6 o vRA o vRO o vROps o SRM
