Quality Assurance Responsible Person/Qualified Person (TKPHJP) (m/f)

Main tasks:
  • Provide leadership in the development of policy, process and organization for Takeda Pharmaceutical International Zurich to ensure compliant global operations
  • Perform all the duties legally and have all rights applicable to the Responsible Person in Switzerland
  • Execute his/her responsibility, understand the Swiss GMP/GDP requirements and meet regulatory compliance
  • Authorised to decide on all pharmaceutical activities to ensure safe processes of trading pharmaceutical products in foreign countries
  • Perform final decision on whether a pharmaceutical product can be traded
  • Ensure all requirements to maintain the Trade Licenses of Takeda Pharmaceutical International Zurich and its branches are met and the Quality Management System is fully implemented and maintained
  • Ensure training on Takeda procedures to impacted parties
  • Review and approve relevant operational documents, e.g. supply chain flows or quality agreements
  • Manage Takeda inspections, corporate internal and external audits
  • Lead or support local, regional or global projects as needed


Main qualifications
  • Scientific Degree (preferably in Pharmacy)
  • In-depth and profound professional experience in a Quality Assurance / Regulatory / Compliance role, including Medical Device experience
  • GDP, Distribution / Warehouse / Transportation experience
  • Fluent communication skills in English and German (written and oral), additional European languages are a plus
  • Highly punctual, systematic, highly organized and concise in communication
  • Strong attention to details, highly creative
  • International travel as required up to 25%
