New Urgent Requirement: Senior IT Engineer - Dutch Speaking - Development - Banking - Amsterdam, Netherlands
A fantastic job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior IT Engineer to join a global bank giant and work in a beautiful region of Netherlands. This job is expected to be a complex, challenging and long term project with exciting future opportunities. Initial duration would be a 6 - 12 month contract.
Skills and Experience:
- At least 5 years of work experience in the full breadth of information technology
- Proven experience as a developer for solutions for the Security Operations Center
- Knowledge and experience with design and/or implementation of Symantec products, Network Security, Data Loss Prevention, ATP, EDR including platform architecture (HW, Virtual Machines, OS Windows/Linux, DNS, Load-Balancers, Firewalls etc)
- Knowledge and experience of setting up and using orchestration tools like Chef, SaltStack, Puppet, Ansible.
- Preferably experience with Agile and DevOps method
- Direct and open communication is the standard within the team. Receive feedback, but also appeal to improvements.
- Strong communication, both verbally and in writing in Dutch and English
