Description

We are currently recruiting for an Information Governance and Risk Advisor for an exciting public sector client. The role is based in Nottingham for a duration of 6 months.

The rate is negotiable and the role has been deemed Inside IR35.

The successful candidate will have the following roles and responsibilities:

- Ensure Information risks are captured and managed
- Involved in the logging and escalation of Risk Balance Cases
- Identify systematic trends and weaknesses to undertake enquiries into security incidents
- Support the verification and validation process underpinning Information Assurance
- Ensure Programmes/Projects incorporate Risk Management within their workstreams

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences:

- Previous public sector experience, preferably within the last 3 years or more
- Previous experience within the above duties
- Previous experience with risk identification, management and governance
- Lead Auditor qualification is desirable
- Data Protection qualification is desirable
