System Integration Test Engineer (m/f)

Main tasks:
  • Support the system development and being responsible for the creation and management of the system integration test strategy as well as performing and reporting results from system integration and functional testing
  • Development of the system integration test strategy in line with system architectural design and develop system robustness tests focusing on key product requirements
  • Perform system integration and interface testing as well as producing system integration status summary and full results reports
  • Develop regression testing strategy and perform regression testing
  • Perform functional testing of system features and support the identification and resolution of technical product development issues as part of the problem solving team
  • Reproduction of customer reported issues including analysis of potential bugs of own product
  • Work with system engineers to develop system architectures, test, calibration specification and FMEA
  • Ensure bi-directional traceability is maintained between architecture and test cases and support product development team leaders in line to the development processes and ASPICE
  • Support project planning, risk and change management activities associated with integration testing and the system engineers with generating verification criteria for requirements and architecture design
  • Maintain test bench setups for use by system and system integration test engineers


Main qualifications
  • Profound experience in the automotive industry in the field of system development internally and with the customer
  • Very good knowledge of embedded and real-time systems and system integration testing
  • Appropriate work experience in the field of cockpit electronics
  • Familiarity with real time operating systems like QNX, Integrity, Linux, Android and Autosar
  • Experience in agile development is beneficial
  • Fluent business and technical German and English language skills for German locations
  • Independently working and communication skills as well as strong team player
  • Commitment, flexibility and support for multinational development
