Description

Minimum Qualification (mandatory skills)

In-depth knowledge of Packet core and Wireless technologies
Technical life cycle service including Planning, Design, Implementation, and Optimization of Cisco Mobile Wireless Solutions.
Primary focus will be on End to end Mobility Architectures, with a baseline focus on 3G/4G mobile packet core (LTE, UMTS/CDMA), signalling, Mobile transport and backhaul technologies, Applications such as Policy, IMS, VoLTE, and Billing.
Principles of end-to-end system architecture and design principles.
Strong knowledge in IP routing and switching is required
Highly proficient include packet core nodes (S-GW, P-GW, MME, GGSN, SGSN, PCRF, PDSN/HA). Knowledge on WiFi and Femto access points, gateways, security, network management additionally along with Service Controllers, Content Billing Servers, etc.
Up to 50% travel may be required

Consulting Skills and Experience are required. Strong knowledge in IP internetworking including routing protocols, LAN Switching and security. Knowledge and experience of Cisco equipment such as ASR 1K, 6500, 7600, ISG, ASR 5K.
Excellent communications skills are a must. Skills and experience in working directly with customers, demonstrated ability to relate to customer representatives at various levels.
Must have good technical writing skills and have experience in writing high and low-level designs (including drawings), test and implementation plans.
Ability to present, communicate the advantages of collaboration technologies to customers
Strong customer-interaction skills and architectural skills
Strong Technical Account management skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

Design responsibilities will include sizing, scalability planning, content billing, routing and traffic planning, service selection.
Create low-level designs for Service Provider rollouts of Mobile Wireless Solutions.
Provide technical input to Statements of Work, RFPs and contracts
Implementation services will include on-site and remote support, configuration, network connectivity and testing of services, NRFU/Acceptance and Customer and Partner training and workshops.
Provide life cycle services for different types of engagements including Proof-of Concept, Early Field Trials, Pre-sales Trials and large-scale deployments
Project Lifecycle Management and strong Process Orientation leading to quality and customer satisfaction outcomes.
Manages stakeholders and customers in a complex and high-touch delivery environment. Has competence in managing customer and stakeholder relationships.
Lead projects effectively, involving diverse matrixed teams, SMEs and supporting function leads.
Trusted Advisor roles in medium to large accounts.
Ownership of business outcomes reflected in quality, timeliness and reliability of delivery.

Experience and Education
Requires BS/BE/B.Tech/M.Tech degree or equivalent.
12 years of related experience in IT industry.
8 to 10 years of experience in Packet core technologies like UMTS and LTE
Certified Expertise in Routing and Switching (CCIE-R&S) or Cisco Mobility certification tracks like SP UMTS and SP LTE
Working exposure in at least two Industry Verticals/Domains.
