Senior Business Analyst
Excellent opportunity for a Senior BA to join a dynamic and growing team working on critical initiatives!
Once hired for this BA role you will be collaborating closely with multiple managers and directors leading large enterprise level projects. You will document requirements using Use Cases, Activity Diagrams and Domain Models and will use UML and modeling software tools to visualize design requirements. We are looking for strong Business Analysts who have experience and understanding of the Waterfall methodology. Once hired you will be working on many projects critical to this Fortune 500 Company. The initial project entails working to transition off Mainframe on to an updated technical platform We are looking for great team players who enjoy collaborating with others and have excellent verbal and communication skills.
This is a long term, 12 month + contract position located in Midtown! This role offers flex hours, great work life balance and the opportunity for new development on exciting projects and initiatives!
Required Skills:
- 5 + years BA experience
- Experience with Use Cases, Activity Diagrams and Domain Models
- Modeling Software tools (Sparx Enterprise OR Rational Rose OR Visio, etc)
- UML experience
- Waterfall methodology
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Excellent collaboration skills in team environment
Preferred:
- HP ALM OR HP Quality Center
- Bachelor's Degree (strongly preferred)
- SDLC
