Description
We are actively looking for a Senior Linux Administrator that is RHCE certified for a long term contract based with one of our government accounts in Dublin City centre.

Duties:
- Manage and Operate a large Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment of RHEL environments Must have excellent experience working on SAN fabrics, with practical reference to SAN Storage products
- Must be capable of provisioning SAN storage, building RHEL on physical and Virtual architectures, and incorporating into Networker with RMAN for Oracle
- Working knowledge building and managing VMware environments
- Excellent Troubleshooting skills, Incident and problem resolution, maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction possible
Experience with the following technologies would be beneficial:
- EMC Networker/Legato
- 3PAR Storage
- Management Tools
- Shell Scripting and automation
- Oracle apps and Database
Document Best practices for RHEL and all related operational tasks
Preventative maintenance tasks to ensure IT systems are operational and secure and to prevent future incidents
Experience Required:
- A current Red Hat V6 or V7 RHCE certification is essential.
- A current VMware accreditation.
- Experience working on technologies detailed above to a 2nd level support capability.
- Communication and attention to detail.
