A leading international banking client of mine are looking for a Dev Engineer for an exciting new project in the heart of Amsterdam.
As a Dev Engineer you fulfil an important substantive role in building and managing the banks specific Oracle EXA private cloud environment and the automated testing and deployment of this.
Our Oracle EXA cloud environment is a combination of EXAdata (databases), EXAlogic (Cloud Computing), EXAlytics () and ZFS appliances (storage). We work with the Agile/Scrum methodology and Continuous Delivery Engineering Practices.
We are a team of 9 Dev Engineers and to complete the team we are looking for an enthusiastic colleague with Linux, CI/CD and Ansible knowledge.
* Minimum 4 years work experience in a complex IT environment
* Certification and/or proven proficiency in one or more of the following knowledge areas
* Knowledge or experience with Agile working
* An automation mind set
* Good command of the English language
* Knowledge is requested from:
* Oracle Linux Administrator (of RHEL)
* Oracle Virtualization technologies
* Oracle DBMS
* CI/CD (in an infra context)
* Versioning Control System (GIT)
* Knowledge of the following topics is a plus:
* Oracle Enterprise Management software (OEM)
* EXA Engineered systems (Exadata, Exalytics, Exalogic, ZFS)
* The work environment
* The Infra EXA Chapter is part of Tech GS, the IT organization of Group Services, and provides for the development and delivery of IT Infra services and the execution of various operational IT activities on the EXA platform.
