My client, a Big Four Consultancy firm, is looking for an IT Security Strategy Consultant based in Milan, to work on a series of projects delivering IT Security Strategies to Global organisations.
This is a perfect opportunity for someone who has cut their teeth in a permanent consultancy role and now wants to take their first steps in freelance consultancy.
You will be supporting a consultancy Manager in developing IT Security strategy documentation to deliver to Board level sponsors and Board meetings.
You should be extremely confident and competent in determining the current IT Security posture of an organisation - involving engaging directly with very senior stakeholders, identifying what core components of security strategy they have in place, and identifying strategy gaps and inconsistencies. This should be work you are familiar with, and very comfortable delivering
You should have a highly analytical mind and be able to leverage your broad IT Security and Information Security knowledge to determine how the organisation should improve its IT Security risk position.
You will then articulate your findings in a board level Strategy Storyline, drilling down from the high-level strategy and risk definition to a mid-level business change plan.
If in reading the above, you have jumped straight to thinking about a technical roadmap please also do not apply for this role. My client is looking for someone who works in the high-level strategy space, not in the technical or architectural space.
In addition, this role is for IT Security Consultants (5+ years' experience) only, either from a Big Four or Big Three Consultancy background. Applications from end client candidates will not be considered.
