Required Technical Skills:
2+ years experience working with Visual Studio to configure and run automated tests
2+ years experience using Beyond Compare
2+ years working with BIDS (including SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
Understanding of SQL and DB2 database services
Understanding of SQL Queries, Views, and Stored Procedures
Experience with XML and possess the ability to update, edit, and create test data in using XML
Understanding of HTML
Required testing skills:
Ability to write a test approach/strategy
Experience with advanced Black Box test design techniques
Experience using Visual Studio to configure and run automated tests
Defect reporting & analysis
Ability to conduct test risk analysis
Experience with basic testing types including: Component (Black Box), Security, Usability, Web Services, Mainframe, Database, and Desktop/Client
Plusses:
Experience in risk-based testing and the insurance industry is a plus.
