In search for a Service Desk support individual to join a long-term project working for a global leading bank in Dublin.
Candidate Specification:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work with a number of interlocking teams
- Conscientious approach to your work
- Experience in IT in medium/large corporate environments and in the area of IT governance
- Strong client facing skills, able to communicate clearly with end users, key stakeholders and senior management explaining situations with patience and empathy
- Strong interpersonal and written skills
- Enthusiastic, Approachable, Flexible and results/quality driven
- Ability to work under pressure in critical circumstances with deadlines and multiple tasks
- Good judgment and problem solving ability

- ITIL/best practice service context
- Excellent time management skills
- Basic project management skills
Technical skills/Experience:
- Workstation/Desktop hardware (PC's and basic MAC)
- Windows 7/10 Operating systems, Mac OS, iOS
- Skype for Business and other video calling technology
- Smartphone technology
- Basic knowledge of Networks
- Thin OS & Desktop OS, Windows, MS Office applications
- Banking systems (desirable), HTML & Visual Basic (desirable)
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in IT hi-technical environment or similar role in the past
- Relevant third level qualification
