System Engineer ( VMware/Citrix ) - Belgium
Languages: ENGLISH and DUTCH.
Skills and Experience:
- You have a Bachelor degree in an ICT direction and you have at least five years of relevant experience.
- You are familiar with managing and supporting projects.
- You have knowledge of the assigned technology domain: Virtualisation (VMware), Backup (Veeam Backup & Replication), Application Virtualization (Citrix XenApp), win server and datacenter infrastructure.
- You have a healthy interest in Microsoft Hyper-V, Scripting, Automation and Security concepts. Finally, you have notions of ITIL and experience with ticketing tools.
Description of work:
- Management of the server hardware (blade centers and rackmountable Servers), server virtualisation (VMware vSphere) and application virtualisation (Citrix XenApp).
- Define projects that you realise independently, together with colleagues or with suppliers.
- Determine the concepts and standards of the environment in accordance with the vision and strategy of the company.
- Act as the last internal link in the support process of the ICT department.
- Building a high-performance and stable ICT environment.
