Fantastic Information Security role available with an international organisation based in Rome, Italy. This will be a 12 month contract with extension potential and it is an English-speaking role in a multinational environment. Single stage Skype interviews are taking place in June and we're looking to onboard someone to the role in July.As an IT Security specialist you will:
- Manage information security for the client and its partners and oversee the implementation of the global information security roadmap.
- Be an expert Information Security advisor to business stakeholders.
- Direct strategy and operations for the protection of information and data assets.
- Help identify current or potential security risks and develop solutions.
- Act as the control point during significant privacy and security incidents.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to conduct audits and security overviews.
- Develop and implement information security initiatives, conduct and oversee the monitoring and auditing of compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Develop and maintain the security roadmap and budgets in order to manage cybersecurity investments.
- Create an information privacy and security-conscious culture among the workforce.
- Recent and preferably long-term experience in information security management
- Relevant Information Security certification such as CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, ISO 27001 lead auditor, CISA, cloud security certifications like CCSP etc.
- Experience in post incident response and recovery techniques.
- Expert knowledge of ISO 27001 standards
- Experience in cloud security assessments in Azure and AWS environments.
- Excellent English language skills.
- Ability and willingness to live and work in Rome, Italy for the contract duration.
