Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a SAP Sybase ASE DBA for a contractual role in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Start: August 2018

Remote: 50% onsite/50% remote
Rate: Negotiable
Project Description:
The end customer is a large FSI who is running on Sybase ASE. The client is looking for a full time ASE resource to be
onsite in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) for operations/support purposes for 1 year.
Scope of Tasks:
Stabilization Services
- As Implementation team disengages, SAP PPS helps stabilize the system and manage end user expectations:
- Stabilize system post go-live, support super users and end user adoption and business user satisfaction
- Stabilize help desk calls/support help desk Level 1, 2 and 3
- Help build FAQ dB for end users
- Manage ongoing enhancements & related testing services
Monitoring Services
- Proactive Monitoring of SAP systems using SAP tools and diagnostics:
- Performance Monitoring
- Monitor Interfaces
- Systems monitoring for SAP ASE
Optimization Services
- Optimization of applications, custom solutions and landscape:
- Recommendations for continuous improvements
- Adaptation to new releases and functionalities
- Code refinement and optimization for performance
