An excellent opportunity to work with our client, one of the leading Turnkey EPC specialists delivering large energy recovery projects. The role is for an initial 6 months (immediate start) but with the likelihood of extension. You would be involved with the design, build and operation of plants for household, non-hazardous, commercial and industrial waste. The role is based in Teeside and you would be expected to work Full time (5 days a week, 10 hours a day). Potential support may also be required on night shifts.Main duties will include:
- Ensuring that the civil and structural works are delivered in accordance with the design and within the agreed timeframes.
- Responsible for active participation in the department's collaboration with other departments and functions of the company, including clarification of interfaces, knowledge sharing and experience recovery.
- Supervising and coordinating the accepted and assigned civil and structural works, including buildings.
- Ensuring that all necessary decisions are taken and that the activities are conducted in accordance with the contract with the customer, current legislation, and company policies and procedures.
- Completion of site civil and structural installation works, both technically, economically, and qualitatively.
- Identification of the site resource needs to support the installation and commissioning of the packaged equipment.
- Preparation of schedules, plans, and guidelines for the civil structural implementation and continuously monitoring that the plans are followed.
- Motivating the civil structural contractors.
- Responsibility for timely, adequate and objective reporting:
- Deviations reports
- Reports to the Management regarding project progress and resource needs.
