Big Data Tester (Azure)
The Big Data Tester will have experience as of testing a Microsoft Azure environment and be confident with multiple sources and Cloud components in that environment. the candidate will also be confident with various tools.
This position will best suit someone with a Testing and Data Analysis background.

Key Responsibilities:
The Big Data Tester will be expected to:
* Able to create and/or follow a Test Plan
* Be able to take defined work and plan its execution for your own delivery to agreed timelines
* Be able to work independently with minimal supervision and still deliver the agreed goals
* Support the Project Management and Test Leader to enable successful completion to challenging timelines
* Escalate any issues that may impact the successful completion of your own work as soon as known
* Demonstrable experience of optimising QA and processes for efficient performance
* Ensure Data integrity and QA throughout the process (Testing with real and dummy data)
Technical Knowledge - Required:
* Testing expertize on various tools
* Evidence of testing in Cloud-based technologies and solutions in the Cloud
* Evidence on Storage testing activities
* Evidence of testing working of components in the Azure Cloud environment
* Evidence of having worked on testing in Big Data, Cloud or Data Warehousing projects
* Familiarity (but not necessarily technical expertise in using) with Big Data Concepts and technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, etc
* Expertize on testing activities (Test case creation, Execution, Defect reporting etc)
Technical Knowledge - Advantageous:
* SaaS applications concept
* Business Intelligence applications and concepts
