One of my key clients, based in Brussels, are looking for a Network Service Manager to start as soon as possible!
To be suitable for this role you will be someone with between 5 and 15 years of experience.
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
Technical architecture discussions (+/- 20%), eg:
* Participate in architecture-sessions with other service managers to discuss which future technologies to use
* Future network architectural discussions with the current Managed Service partners
* Further definition of IP-standard + creation of process to manage
* Discussions around Office365 requirements
Network service management support (+/-20%), eg:
* Discussions & reviews of capacity management with the current service provider
* Continuous improvement-sessions & -reviews with the current service provider on Zscaler
* Clean up Invoices with Easynet
* SBU's implementations (flow's) and support
* PAC file related items, from operational perspective
* Assistance to security in Zscaller operational items
* Support for Applications deployment
* Creation of knowledge-base for network service
Coordination of change requests with the current Managed Service provider (30%), eg:
* Webex-integration of Russia/MiddleEast/South Africa
Management of small/medium-size projects in the network area (30%), eg:
* LAN refresh
They are NOT looking for a pure Project Manager profile, as this person will probably be unhappy to take care of the 40% Service/Architecture tasks, rather a Network Service Manager who has some project management capabilities.
To be suitable for this role you will have:
* Technical profile, good knowledge from network perspective up to layer 3 OSI model-experience with Cisco is a massive plus
* The ability to handle small projects/task/actions autonomously
* Some knowledge of security and protocols
* Service mindset that is willing to support and help others

Rate: €550 - €650/day depending on experience
