Description

Medical Device Packaging Technical Expert wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical industry.

Your experience/skills:
  • Science based University degree
  • Solid experience with drug development and the interaction of drug formulation with primary packaging (glass and polymer syringes, needle metals, glue leachables, silicone interaction, tungsten interaction with drug).
  • Sterile primary packaging experience or experience in the interface with drug development and primary packaging development required.
  • Expertise with the interactions between drug product and primary packaging materials is important.
  • Languages: fluent English both written and spoken


Your tasks:
  • Coordinating primary packaging development activities with the project team members for assigned projects
  • Developing primary packaging concepts to support early phase development
  • Managing feasibility assessments on new technology and packaging concepts
  • Upholding knowledge in the areas of materials and manufacturing
  • Conducting design for manufacture assessments as well as the tolerance stack analyses
