Role - WAN Network Engineer
Location - Prague, Czech Republic
Duration - 6 months Contract
Start Date - ASAP
Job Description:
- 10 years total experience in Network domain.
- Should possess hands-on experience in managing and troubleshooting WAN protocols like OSPF and BGP along with HSRP.
- Sound knowledge of Network basics and understand on Network OSI layer, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, ARP, HSRP, VRRP, Object Tracking.
- Should be able to troubleshoot issues with DMVPN and familiar with QoS configuration and troubleshooting.
- Should be able to prepare configuration and implementation of one or more routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, DMVPN, IPsec, etc. on a carrier class Router platform.
- Candidate should have experience and the ability to work independently with other cross-functional teams.
- Should have exposure of coordinating activities with ISP's, Client and other vendors to collaboratively work and resolve issues.
- Should be able to handle P1 and escalations.
- Should have worked good understanding on Core, Distribution and access layer along with Global network comprising of Tiered sites and Data Centers.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) a must. Must possess the willingness to produce high quality of code.
- Should have work on Wireshark & have experience in troubleshooting the networking issue
- Should have experience in designing of tier 1/tier2/tier 3 sites
- Should have experience in BGP protocols especially path manipulation, communities, As-path in details
- Should have knowledge of troubleshooting IPSEC/DMPVN in details
