Oracle Financials Support/Coordinator, Bank, Brussels

Background: My client is an international bank, looking for mixed profile Service Manager/Technical Analyst/Support/Coordinator to work in the team that delivers IT solutions regarding financial applications. More details below!

Tasks:
As Service Manager:
- You act as Coordinator for all activities related to the external company hosting Oracle financial applications (ERP, BI and billing):
- building and maintaining global delivery planning for the hosting company;
- you are the interface between the bank and the hosting company on transversal hosting matters;
- monitor the performance of the hosting company;
- give ad-hoc support to the 3 teams in charge of the 3 large Oracle applications;
- accountable for providing these teams with necessary tools (VDI, VM, development tools etc.);

As technical analyst for all existing Financial applications in scope:
- You act as Designer for small applications (on-prem and SaaS);
- You gather technical and functional knowledge in order to become Application Owner;
- Act as Single Point Of Contact for the IT infrastructure teams;
- Liaise with Finance Business users in case of enhancement requests;
- Help resolve Production incidents affecting the applications under your control and communicate effectively with the internal Business Users.

As technical analyst for new Financial applications to be implemented:
- You implement packaged applications and design their interfaces in line with the required business and operational requirements, while being compatible with the enterprise wide architectural and design guidelines;
- You are in contact with IT infrastructure teams to provide them with a clear and complete information on the application technical context and physical topology;
- You build a good functional and technical knowledge of the implemented package and its interfaces;
- You participate to the application software delivery to both test and production environments;
- You may contribute to the supervision and/or validation of the build process by external companies;

Skills/Experience:
Looking for a Service Manager with exposure to a large range of skills, but no need to be expert in each of them. A background in Financial applications is very important to be able to be able to learn fast the bank's applications and infrastructure.
As well as the main Financial application (eBS, OBIEE, ORMB, OneSumX), the landscape also contains many in-house packages (costing & profitability, forecasting, reporting solutions etc.) and Cloud applications (Ariba, Blackline, payment gateways, etc.) that you will be responsible for 9in a coordination role). Experience in all these type of packages is not required, but exposure to some tools is expected.
- min 10 years in IT;
- min 5 years in the Finance domain (can be in any large industry sector, not necessarily banking);
- Experience as Coordinator and Service Management (2+ years);
- Broad IT experience (development, design, infrastructure, security);
- Knowledge of the basic infrastructure principles (Firewall, Proxy, SSO, FTP, etc.) and knowledge of basic security principles;
