Description
Scientist (Particle Characterisation) wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- Master's degree in a relevant life science discipline
- Profound working experience as a Laboratory Technician in the field of particle characterisation such as MFI or FlowCam, Light Obscuration with HIAC or PAMAS, Dynamic/ Static Light Scattering DLS/MALLS, Nano tracking analysis NTA, Archimedes or analytics
- Good technical and IT skills coupled with a good knowledge of MS Office Software
- Programming skills (e.g. R) is advantageous
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Planning and performing routine analyses in a wet lab
- Evaluating, interpreting and documenting results and scientific information
- Providing analytical support for biopharmaceutical protein development projects
- Using modern test methods for particle characterisation
- Working at several interfaces, such as physico-chemical analytics as well as formulation and process development
- Maintaining the lab equipment and troubleshooting
