Description

Scientist (Particle Characterisation) wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.

Your experience/skills:
  • Master's degree in a relevant life science discipline
  • Profound working experience as a Laboratory Technician in the field of particle characterisation such as MFI or FlowCam, Light Obscuration with HIAC or PAMAS, Dynamic/ Static Light Scattering DLS/MALLS, Nano tracking analysis NTA, Archimedes or analytics
  • Good technical and IT skills coupled with a good knowledge of MS Office Software
  • Programming skills (e.g. R) is advantageous
  • Languages: fluent English both written and spoken


Your tasks:
  • Planning and performing routine analyses in a wet lab
  • Evaluating, interpreting and documenting results and scientific information
  • Providing analytical support for biopharmaceutical protein development projects
  • Using modern test methods for particle characterisation
  • Working at several interfaces, such as physico-chemical analytics as well as formulation and process development
  • Maintaining the lab equipment and troubleshooting
