CAD Draftsman (m/f)Location: Solothurn, Schweiz

Functional goal:
Drawings are baseline documents for the plant and shall correspond to the current status of the installations, buildings and equipment.
The main objective of the draftsman is to maintain up-to-date all the drawings on site, following the execution of projects and modifications on site. The drawings shall be managed and maintain following the current effective procedures.
Main tasks:
- Drawings management in Autocad softwares.
- Ensure a complete traceability and audit trail for the drawings update.
- Manage X-Ref of all the drawings on site.
- Drawings management in Meridian software (web-access and software for the storage and access of drawings and all the other engineering documents).
- Research missing drawing and, if needed, create missing drawing based on checks and measurements on site.
- Based on criticality of the respective drawing, evaluate and follow-up the corresponding approval process flow.
- Attribute and manage drawings and tags number.
- Support project for the management of drawings' project versions.
- Contact with suppliers for the hand-over of drawings.
- Establish Biogen Solothurn user requirements for the drawings management and format during future projects.
- Archive obsolete drawings.
- Print drawing on plotter following other departments' requests.
- Support other department for the research of drawings in Meridian.
- Train identified stakeholders for an extensive use of drawings in Meridian and Trueview
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in drawing management in industrial plant facility.
- Had worked previously with thefollowingdrawings' types:
- Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs),
- Pneumatics diagrams,
- Mechanical drawings,
- Building and site layouts,
- Electrical diagrams,
- Single line diagrams.
- Very strong knowledge in Autocad (create, update, adapt, XRef,…).
- Experience in quality control system for the drawings (full traceability, approval process flow with quality assurance department involved).
- Experience in pharmaceutical environment and GMP is a plus.
- Experience in building construction in drawing service is a plus.
- Very good communicator, open-minded. Ability to work in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment.
For this position it is mandatory to speak fluently German and to have a good English level.
